🏠A Point-in-Time count was conducted in 20 communities across British Columbia in 2025.
BC Housing, the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs, the Homelessness Services Association of BC and the B.C. Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres collaborated on the homeless counts in B.C.
🤝Homeless counts give important baseline information on the estimated number, key demographics, and service provision needs of people experiencing homelessness. A Point-in-Time count (PiT count) provides a snapshot of people experiencing homelessness in a 24-hour period.
