Valemount Affordable Rentals Society (VARS) has launched our new website!

VARS is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the housing needs of the Valemount community.

With the assistance of our newest staff member, Daniel Fogal, we aimed to create an accessible, intuitive, and informational website.

We are thankful to live, work, and recreate on the unceded, traditional territories of the Simpcw and Lheidli T'enneh First Nations.

We acknowledge that colonization is not a relic of the past, but is ongoing and why it’s important to be mindful of that participation.
We recognize that Indigenous peoples contribute to the land amidst broken promises through many gifts and talents.
We celebrate that land by honouring and respecting its history, hoping that others will stand in solidarity with these Nations on the path to reconciliation.
